Well, since the lore section pointed me here, I guess this is where I'll post.  I was thinking about joining the DS RP, but dang that's a lot to read up on.  But I was planing on using a mere cobalt pilot that has been stuck floating in the void for a while anyway.  So I don't know if that would allow me to be a bit out of the loop.  I'll need some help setting up though.  I need an out of the way place where a Advent/TEC battle could take place and then be forgotten about for a couple months (perhaps a random meeting in deep space?).  But still within range for someone to notice when my guys get a long range distress beacon working.  So... I guess PM me if you're willing to help?

Welcome aboard. Well there is the map you can look at, study then use to set up what you need. It should have a link in the OP. I have to admit we are all so focused on being battle commanders that no one thought to do a lowly cobalt pilot captain.

I considered doing a fighter pilot, but I pussed out. Makes me feel like crap sometimes.

Anyway, we can fill you in on the latest and greatest if you're not totally caught up. Stant is probably the most detail oriented, but anyone can give you a quick 411. I guess just PM or something, especially if you have any specific questions or hopes. I would say that the border between TEC/Advent or Unclaimed/Advent sounds like your best bet. Although the map gives the major factions, there are a slew of minor ones you can look at Stant's attendance list (second or third to last page of lore) to play with. The major factions are usually players, so do ask if you need some involvement.
