Haha, i'm the ultimate southerner, I'm from Australia! Anyway, sorry to rain on your parade but the LHC would only work on a sub-atomic level, no big booms. Nevertheless the end of the world is nigh with the LHC black holes and red giants will tear though earth! (the average simpsons stereotype of Aussies)
