Fellas, have you guys played X3:Gold? It got gifted to me but its about 9Gb to download. Not sure if it's worth the time and hdd space. Any recommendations on the game much appreciated.

third hit and you are all out, as she was after catching and eating the mouse, and this is WHY I use trackballs and touchpads as she does NOT catch and eat them.

never got the hang of them. I can do touchpads. Hard though for gaming. Of course, wireless mice can run farther than other mice.

I like how we keep coming back to this image.

I notice that you see vapor trails behind most of the bombs, obviously so you can see them without giving away what tehy are. When you get teh close up, they don't bother to put in a vapor trail, but it would look even cooler and more consistent with one. Hmm

Be that as it may, what do you guys know of star wolves 3, Impusle has their weekend sale and for 9 bucks, I'm intrigued.

Found numerous youtube vids and this is my fav. Nothing says epic while ships are duking it out inside a planets ice rings.

And yes I do have X3 Reunion and Terran Conflict. Got them back in November for less than 7 bucks when impulse had their special of the day...Learning curve is as steep as Mt Everest is tall. Depending on the refund fairy, may get a more powerful rig that can handle the gorgeous graphics this game puts out. Right now, I use the galaxy editor to create backgrounds for my DS lore post. If you are too lazy to go back a few pages, here's one...

Not sure about the brand (I just pulled it off of google) but it is 50'. Basically I am turning my computer in the family entertainment center. Will be upgrading to a Blu-Ray player and more mem with Windows 7.

That would be something. Too bad Sins isn't terribly friendly about dual screens, that I've found so far. But, I haven't been gaming much lately. Ryat, you have my blessings.

I know. Games like Supreme Commander just take to them in a heartbeat and yet other strategy games just poo on it.
