Anything else just please ask...

Yeah I forgot the edit button. My bad.

I installed it into a folder in the sins game folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Harpoo Mod Utilities

I've been able to run this from the desktop. In winXP SP3...

____

I did try installing straight to the game folder of Sins. Same error...

Hmm....

theg57, the version of the mod utilities you are using is the 1.17 version.

it checks for the sins version so as to PREVENT fucking up mods.

the version for sins 1.181/entrenchment 1.041 is the 1.181a rar in the mod updater thread

and my utilities if extracted to a single folder CAN BE ANYWHERE on the computer, even on a USB stick, and I TEST all the utilities on win xp32,v###ta 32 & 64 bit AND win7 32 & 64bit(admittedly with UAC off) using a usb stick, and if there is any difficulties I re-work them untill all difficulties are solved OR worked around, eg the issues with files converted to bin by an older version of convertdata not converting with the latest version, which is why I supply each version of the convertdatas with my utilities.

and you could even post in my threads
