Impulse not downloading

I have had Sins for some months now but I cannot get Imulse to download in spite of reloading it.  As I write it's been stuck on "Downloading Impulse Update - retrying" for mre than half an hour and shows no sign of shifting.  Is it that I am impatient and it takes two hours or something?  I am still stuck on Ver 1.05 and no "Entrenchment" after several months.  I have 3.2ghz processor and fully upgraded 9500 with 1gb onboard.  If I try to download "Entrenchment ", I get "Action cannot be performed at this time, Impulse is validating registrations."  Help, please.

I have a similar problem. I have entrenchment and I am trying to update it. It keeps on saying that i am not connected to the internet and I am on offline mode. However, to the best of my knowledge, I am connected. I log in to the forums from impulse, I dont know how else to "log in" but it still wont download. And now sins isnt working for some reason, so I am very sad

It also says at the start up screen "could not log in, please check connection and credentials" I have no idea how to do that.
