Hi all, I have wanted to start creating my own weapons effects, but I don't really understand the Particle Forge very well yet. I have looked around and I can't find a tutorial for it and the pdf's in the documentation folder don't even mention the program
It is actully very simple.
Just mess around with the settings, and you will get it quickly.
I'm not an expert with it, but this article on the mod wiki might help.
One thing I'd like to know is, if there's any way to see textures in the simulation.
I don't like looking at bunch of orange squares...

That's because you're resurrecting a nearly 2 year old thread. Links tend to die after a while.
You need to copy the Particle, Pipeline Effects, Texture Animation, and Texture folders from the game and put them in your particle forge folder. If you have entrenchment or diplomacy, make sure you get the appropriate folders from those versions as well. When you run the simulation you'll see the actual effects.
