Have you ever played with a clan? or even sins? thats the kind of atmosphere there is. a fun, vibrant and sometimes immature, but its all fun at the end of the day. That why I voted myslef in the awards.

That doesnt mean the owners of a website can just jump over their own rules to banish threads even if they dont necessaryily lik them. If they didnt like something that didnt fit into their already established rules. They have to make a new rule to get away with locking said threads.

As a owner of a site where you invite people to come and share opinions and such. You establish rules to keep things from getting out of hand. You should expect something to come up you dont agree with. But just because you disagree doesnt mean you can dictate it shouldnt be here. Especially if you didnt set it down in a rule prior to.

What its coming down to is, the Moderators protecting the minority by claiming blacklists are unfair. Which in turn is alienating the majority who are really taking a hit for the bad behavior thats being ignored by ICO.

It's been a long running rule that public blacklists aren't allowed. Ignorance is not an excuse

The rule is already there. Public vilification of any individual is not permitted. Whatever they may/may not have done is irrelevant.

Exactly what gives you the right to decide who is or isn't on a blacklist? Any such list will be arbitrary and open to interpretation. Any matters of conduct should be dealt with privately for the protection of all involved. What you choose to do in private, is up to you...

A POINT of a forum is to MAKE DISCUSSIONS of our likes and dislikes, If we cant discuss players who ruin the game for others, then that goes agiesnt forums.

Majority is what people beleive is the right thing and action to take, the miniortiy are usally the scumbags who are causing the problems, and people like you fuzzy, your opioions are welcome here, but if you have never played sins, then please, keep your comments to yourself. IF THE MAJORTY agress that a black list should be implmented, then it should be implmented, my list was far, each player needed more then 3 complaints to have there name blacklisted, plus proof from other sources such as recodings and screen shots etc.

Reasonable discussion requires each party to be able to converse and offer opinion without resorting to insults. Anything else will degenerate into a slanging match and any point which might have been made will be lost.

Ok so if blacklists are not to be allowed. Its still an issue that the actual Moderators and such are not doing something to protect the majority from those that are creating issues within the community. If they arent willing to do their part inwhich they stamp out the minority of troublemakers. Then their hypocrites and their rules are worthless.

Regarding thread locking, etc.  I actually thinkg that Stardock has been rather liberal and that they'll allow many posts that wouldn't be allowed on other official forums.  For a good time, visit the Epic Games forums and post threads about how Unreal Tournament III is a consolized abomination.  Your threads will get locked and you'll probably get banned.

I just think that MP needs the moderators and Devs to step up and actually put some effort into controlling the Online Games more. People are complaining for a reason. Its because they arent able to enjoy their game without going over leaps and bounds. If MP was a larger community then the booting of new players to bring in friends wouldnt be that big of a deal. But seeing as how small MP is right now, it takes a good while to get one game started. And for someone to sit there for 45 minutes then to be booted is a waste of their free time. It discourages them from going online. And by not adressing the fact that smurfs/people with bad gaming behavior the Mods and Devs are only allowing for the MP community to continue to spiral. A blacklist wouldnt be needed if the Community rivaled the SP but it doesnt. And the Mods and Devs need to protect what little MP they have of SINs if they intend on keeping SINs around.

As ever if someone is causing trouble on ICO you can report them to [email protected] and they'll take action if they determine it's necessary. There is no need for a blacklist.

Can we email you mid game of someone who has gone afk for you to disconnect them?

^^ unfortunately the lack of Oversight in MP by Mods and Devs has forced people to ask for Blacklists. Wether their against the rules or not. Its obvious why its come to this. Emailing the Mods and Devs isnt a sound solution. Your just waving off the issue.
