Scrapping questions

1) what is the base scuttle percentage returned for ships and structrues?

2) what is the percentage returned after all vasari scuttle upgrades?

3) if a ship or structure is damaged, is it still scuttled for full value, or only a percentage?

4) if improvements are made to a starbase, are those taken into consideration if it is scrapped?

  3. yes, the lower the remaining hull the lower the $$$ recovered
  4. yes, improved do count towards a starbase scuttle scrap value

It's also worth noting that you get practically all your money back if you scuttle a starbase while it's still in construction, regardless of how much damage it's taken.  Great way to recoup your losses if your Vasari SB rush isn't going smoothly.

Yeah, just verified these in-game.  Another question...

5) does scuttling a planet return some percentage of the upgrades that were made to it?

5) scuttling a planet will give you nothing.  Only do this if you want to give the planet to an ally or it doesn't have infrastructure upgrades and you need to stop the credit bleeding.

One last question,

6) If you scuttle your own structure in the presence of your vasari capship (after doing the research which allows capships to collect scrap), will you receive an additional scrap bonus?  Or does it just apply to enemy stuff you blow up?
