I want to make a basic mod improving the stats of the capital ships and starbases but decreaseing the fleet supply of other ships the frigates and cruisers to 1 each. I have made the changes in the gameinfo folder. However, for some reason, it will not apply my changes to the game. Am I missing something? I also tried to install the mod via the appdata mod folder, but still the game did not regonize it. Please help.
BTW, I am using vista.
