hey hey, i do know where to folder is but i just re-installed the games. only to realise that there is no longer any mod folder.
i have used this path: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\
i use vista, and have found this folder every time before hand. WTH is going on. cheers
never mind, it seems as though with 1.04 you need to click "show mod path" for it to appear in the actual folder (first time in 4-5 installs of the game)
Yeah just do this, its the easiest way.
Or you can manually create a folder "Mods-Entrenchment v1.041"
I am having the same problem, but I dont have entrenchment yet. So do you happen to know a way I could get a folder like that? (this is my fist mod on a pc, it is so much easier on a mac)
If you have the most updated version of regular Sins of a Solar Empire, you need to create a folder called Mods-v1.181. If you can't find the directory to put that folder in, Like Ark Royal said it should be C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\. While it's a little different for every operating system, it should be something like that for all Windows systems.
goafan your path is good for vista and windows 7, but on xp the path should be
C:\Documents and Settings\'user name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\
these are some of the behind the scenes differences between xp & earlier and vista and later.
