Now that you have calmed down a bit I will offer another suggestion to try. As you have previously mentioned having 2 email accounts and having them merged then you can try merging them again here - Transfer Registrations
Put the email you don't have access to any more in the Source Account and the email you are using now in the Destination Account.
* FWIW - When someone does offer you help it would be beneficial for you (and your friend) to reply civilly and without the extra crap that was posted. Members here are more than happy to try and assist others when the conversations are respectful on both sides.
Like I said earlyer, I have already exhausted every other option I could find; you need to be able access both email accounts, as when you try to re merge them at the transfer registrations page, it informs you that an email containing a URL has been dispatched to both email accounts, and will need to be clicked on to complete the transfer.
I am very greatful for the help, I simply get irritated when I need to repeat the same thing four or five times becuase people continuoulsy give me the same advice over and over again, and then procede to call me a pirate, among other things, for not listening to them, when I have in fact tried what they suggested, and posted that It didnt work. So if your going to tell me that you're happy to assist me, please ensure that you know what is going on before suggesting something, that way I don't have clarify what has already been tried again, which will cause me to become more annoyed at the fact that my game is not working.
@Quipster:
I've given your account a good solid kick. Try closing Impulse and running the following file:
http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg
Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.
Your games should then be visible in Impulse; if they still aren't, try reinstalling Impulse once more(I know you have a couple times already) from the full installer: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe.
This appears to have solved the problem. I now have a "My Games" tab, and I appear to be able to re-download my software. I will most definatly make at least a few copies of the install files and will continue to use Impulse to run the game as long as the software seems capable. But if it decides it's going to pull this crap again, at least I will be able to install the game sans impulse. Thanks for your help... As well as everyone in this thread. I know I seemed to be quite uncooporative, but think of it from my perspective... I only get a few days of holidays a year, and I don't particularly want to spend them waiting for someone else to go back to work so I can play a game that I paid for. I do appreciate that it now seems to be working, but I only have a few hours left in my last day of holidays. At least I can play a few rounds of sins on the weekends now.
And by the way... I believe someone claimed that I had a pirated copy... Well, you were indeed wrong... So ha.
