Diplomacy Fails

Battle Royale vs 4 Unfair Computers

I want to say, that I've been thus far pretty impressed with Sins of a Solar Empire. This game has been oodles of fun. And since I just upgraded my computer today, I've found that I can play it even with 100+ planets and it doesn't get laggy until I hit a super-battle like the below pictures.

Thanks Ironclad for this wonderous game. ^_^

You can't have big battles?
Or
Diplomacy doesn't really add anything connected to Diplomacy?

His computer fails................  I have a crap computer 117 planets on 3 stars and between my forces 3 big battles like that all at the same time and my computer is hanging in there.  With  low 3 GB of ram.

Suggestion to the laggy

Buy More EXPENSIVE RAM, the better the ram the better your computer can muti task.

Close all other programs your; IE browser messenger, Limewire, hell impulse your printer program.  Anything that takes more than 5% process in the task manager, possibly goto MSCONFIG and turn junk off like the preloaded AOL that to my knowledge no one ueses anymore.

Maybe the fact that all Diplomic options were used....and brute force was needed.

On that game, I totally lost. I made the mistake of splitting my fleet before I had stolen enough of their ships, and my capital ships (all level 10's) were picked off one by one. I have a saved game that I might go back to, but it was just ridiculous at the end. I destroyed something like 70 enemy capital ships, and lost about 18 myself. I'm starting to think that a 6 Radiance', 5 Raptures, and 3 Halcyons, and 2 Progenitors is the way to go. PUMMEL PUMMEL PUMMEL SMITE SMITE SMITE STEAL STEAL STEAL. :D

Hmm, Most of the Time I do something like 5 Radiance, 4 Halcyons, 4 Progenitors, 2 Raptures and one of the last kind. Enforced by lots and lots of Illuminators ofcourse, most of the time that works well :)
