Strategy?

I love the idea of backroom deals with other factions to turn against common enemies who may at the time be allies. Tricking factions and corrupting them to your needs is great in diplomacy!

I need to know some diplomatic strategies for wiping out AI and Real players using Pirates, backroom deals, other Players (both AI and Person), and a lot of money. All of those things are available to me but I need a perfect way to wipe out people out with all of those "in my deck". Got any great badass ideas? Also use this post for generic Diplomacy Strategies.

Strategy!

Let the AI send convoys to your planets. He uses money and fleet for it, thus weakening himself.
You get the production bonus, it's a win-win situation ^^

Pirates? You can do 2 things with pirates. Buy a mission from them, and put bounty on other peeps in order to get pirates to attack them.
You can buy pirate missions and send them on an player you got peace with, btw ^^
So if player A gets the bounty pirates on them, you could buy some more pirates to attack player A, the more the merrier, no? ^^
You could buy pirates to attack player A on planet Y, while you wait and prepares an assault on planet X, when he's occupied with defending planet Y from pirates.

But never buy the pirates to attack planet Y while you do the same. Pirates tend to ignore who bought them and will thus fire on your ships and player A. Would be money down the drain one way or another ^^

And last

Strategy?  Bid every 15 minutes and send super pirates at your enemy.  You win!  I want this expansion renamed as "Pirate Bid War".
