After updating to ent1.05, all I see in-game are particle effects :-/. No meshes or textures. And noooo idea as to why :-/. Uninstall/re-install failed me as well. Halp .
This has happened to me as well.
When you uninstall, also try manually deleting everything in the installation folder before reinstalling.
The above solution was a fix, thanks a whole bunch .
