The new 1.05 entrenchment patch, while yes I realize there will always be people here who are never satisfied with some ship being overpowered or overnerfed, frankly I think the balance in the game is much better now.  I've already played 3 games online with some more veteran players and in each one everyone seemed to be taking it a bit more conservative, I suppose to try and feel out the new patch.  Well, Advent can still spam illums of course, but at least now my favorite race, Vasari, are starting to hold their own much better and that I don't have to build a freaking SB to counter seeker spam. 

I'm also seeing more people play Vasari than before, but TEC seems to be the popular one.  I know the minidumps are still a problem and I know there will always be plenty of players complaining about some balance issue but my point to this post is to say thanks to ICO for helping even things out a little better with 1.05.
