Can't play

Today I finally bought Entrenchment and Diplomacy after months of playing the original just fine, Impulse said they'd been downloaded and installed correctly but whenever I try and play them I get a minidump error on start up, worse still I can't play the original without the minidump error either. I've searched the forums for help and found numerous references to minidump errors but they all happened midgame or due to a mod, I can't find any advice for when you can't actually load it. Can anyone please help?

It can crash on startup if you had a mod set to load on start, which if you were using a mod is the most likely cause. Try making sure your Mods folder is empty before starting?

Would the Mods folder be the one found at C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods ?

If so, it is empty and sadly it's still not working. Is there anything else I can try?

Edit: Have uninstalled the game and reinstalled it using Impulse and it's working fine now. Thanks anyway
