Mod Suggestion- sins expanded

ok, so i would like to see a mod that expands on a lot of the existing things in soase. i have no modding experience, but i would really like to see this. i am open to any suggestions. this mod would include:

new ships classes:

heavy carrier (we have percheron light, why not a heavy?) supports one extra sc squad, and has flak turrets, would cost more than a light carrier and a couple flaks, but lower command cost. needs like 6 military labs, maybe an ability like Kol flak burst

long range cruiser, a more durable version of a lrf, needs 4 or 5 labs (depending on race), maybe a passive buff ability

heavy frigate - bridge between light frigate, and heavy cruiser, maybe some cripple ability

new buildings from heavy constructor:

static turrets and hangars only buildable in neutral gravity wells, to help sb in those areas wont consume the constructor, or they do, but the constructor costs much less (like vasari version)

civilian starbases- civilian starbases, little or no weapons, but upgrades like- culture, colony (like vasari, get tax income from starbase), trade, refinery, and remote construction, all stronger than the abilities of military sb. also be upgraded to serve as research center. upgradable health, but relatively low compared to military sb. maybe they also could have some diplomatic purpose.

new planets-

barren, ocean, and toxic, yes i know about sins plus but these are the only ones that i really like from it, and sins plus is only available through DS.

carbon planet- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_planet, would be covered in seas of tar, or other hydrocarbons, have a mantle layer of diamond (trade bonus)

different gas giant classes- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudarsky_extrasolar_planet_classification, these would add more diversity to gas giants, and make map making nice, also colonizable gas giants would be nice (once again i know in sins plus)

Chthonian planet- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chthonian_planet, basically a gas giant with its atmosphere burnt away, ikd about properties and looks, but would be cool to see (plus it has a cool name =P)

orphan/rogue world, a barren or gas giant planet outside of a star system (idk is this is possible)

dwarf planet, small barren planet, like pluto or ceres.

also a rescaling would be nice, so that asteroids and starbases aren't 1/3 the size of planets, planets aren't 1/2 the size of gas giants, and gas giants aren't 1/2 the size of stars. to compensate for this, ships  should be able to move much faster, but have a longer speed up/ slow down time. a ship would have to be orbiting a star to reach its max speed. also ships, and especially structures, should have a farther range.

Here's a novel idea for you.  Why don't you create this wonderful-sounding mod yourself?

And modding is easy to learn.

With no prior experience, I picked up modding right away. (Abliet the 3D part can be a bit tricky). But it sounds like you could just re-use the models.

There are mods available that do alot of what you want available already. "Distant Stars" for one is Diplomacy compatable. There are others as driodeka95 mentions that are in development, I am working on 1 also. While some of your ideas are interesting, I think though that all the modders are are busy getting thier mods up and running.

One of the great things about SoaSE is that it is set up to be pretty modder friendly and all of the tools needed will only cost you a few Megabites to download. For some of the things that you can't find, why not have a go at doing them your self. There's lots of info on this forum to help and I have found that the modding community is very helpful with advice for problems.
