Ok, wait a minute. So this problem the whole time was that you cant install the drivers? And you ARE able to log in to your OS? 
Storm, I am trying to help you, but you dont give any info, I'm afraid.
If 1 or more critical OS files are corrupt, or missing for some reason, search it on google (dont laugh), and you will most probably locate which is the corrupt file. If it is a registry entry, you can add it. You dont wanna know how many times I skipped formatting my OS this way. Everything has a solution, as long as you're willing to spend time on it.
