I just got Sins running on my new laptop (Dell Latitude D600) in XP, an upgrade from what I was running Sins on previously. But now when I run the game (regardless of what expansions are installed), I get a strange phenomenon where planets are of a ghostly see-through appearance or don't show up at all (just their atmospheres). I've tried tweaking the settings and loading the drivers for the Radeon 9000 that's in the motherboard, and even reinstalled, but I still get the same issues.
Anyone else have this before? How can I fix it? It never happened with the older computer even though that was much older and slower. Thanks.
EDIT: Also ships in a phase-jump have a strange grphical problem: their textures disappear (instead of becoming translucent) except for a few random surfaces on the mesh.
