Hi im new around, i was wondering if someone have ever seen a TEC IA enemy construting and using the novalith cannon, because i have never seen it in hard. Do they use it in unfair or in the new difficulties of the diplomacy? Thanks to all.
I hope not hahaha, I never let the AI's get to the point where its feasible, I either keep it so their economy is taxed fighting me or whipe them out. I could see Unfair's doing it if you let them though.
Doesn't seem like it. My friend and I regularly play against unfair AIs, and I've never seen an AI superweapon.
I once built an superweapon on all of my planets, saved and left the game, restarted it, left the AI in control of my faction while I took over another one.
The AI did not fire them at all. Haven't tried with autofire left on, though.
Played 5v5 9-Vicious and me just so my team AI's get me through development phase never seen them use super weapons.
AI's don't use super weapons. And if they did they should be time locked.
Vicious AI gets 50 cred ps at start and they max their fleet in about 15 min every time.
So they could get their super weapon very quick while most players still develop their economy.
Ai's are strong but with super weapons they would be way TO TOUGH for most players - I think
PS I once beat 1v1 vicious and only on one of pre-made maps where home planets are 1 jump away. Had to try 3 times before AI was finally beaten. I've read JJ beat one but he's one of best if not the best on SINS and i don't know if he had random map... but he said it was hard so... with super weapons
