Mini-dump on sins diplomacy 1.01

Hello all,

 

I am getting mini-dumps upon updating to 1.01.  1.00 works just fine, but whenever I start up 1.01, it dumps.  Any suggestions?

Can anyone help?  I've tried reinstalling the program and restarting the computer and still no luck?  Should I just email stardock?

This is a well known issue already since entrenchment, I guess they're too lazy to pinpoint us (users to any direction how to solve this), my guess would be that's it has something to do with XPs/Vista/Win7 memory limit allocation or something, but who knows.

 

BTW: After I came around much similar posts regarding this issue, with requests of sending the minidump to *dock I gave up on searching for a patch and began to search for some tweak guide for WinXP/Vista/Win7.  :cylon:

reeboker the issue you are referring is a 32-bit issue that can only be truly fixed by completely rewriting the game.

dresda's issue was actually solved. In case you hadn't noticed as this is over 6 months old.
