Trying to Register the Game

Just bought my copy from Walmart two days ago. Had some trouble registering the software originally...site asks for "CD key", on the back of the manual is a SINS TRIN REG CODE (ridiculously long code) and something labeled P/N.

Anyway, it seemed to take the REG CODE when I re-entered it in caps (doesn't say it's case sensitive), but I can't be sure and am still not sure if that's a O or 0 in the code. The game allowed me to play it that day...then the next time I booted it it has "INSTALL" as the option again. Clicking that it wants to delete the game. Do so and it wants to re-install the game.

After intall it skips the cinematic scenes and goes straight to a Diplomacy window that has no options in it at all (like Single Player, Multi Player, etc). It seems to be a dead end. CTR <ALT> out and I'm back to it wanting to deleted the copy and re-install it.

HELP! I'm too stupid to figure out the hoops the security IT people want me to jump through! Am about to take it back and get my money back!

Ok, nvm. Apparently the game wanted *another* download from Impulse. It also wanted me to create my own shortcut to the file (/boggle) and to not use the DVD to try and launch it (still get the install/uninstall crap that way).

Almost as much fun as doing taxes so far.

i'm not sure where you are trying to registering your copy of sins, but i'll do my best to try to help you.

Updating/registering sins requires you to have impulse installed on your computer (link here www.impulsedriven.com). Once you create an account you can add your copy of sins to your account. to do this you go the games tab, then click register product, type in your serial number and the email address you used to create the account. Once added you can download/install sins from any computer that has impulse installed. You don't need the disc in the drive to play the game...hope this helps, if you need any more help i'll do my best to help or someone else from around here can help
