Diplomacy / Trinity 1.011 Trainer

Hi

Has anyone seen a free one around for the latest trinity / diplomacy patch, I need it mainly for the unlimited ships and / logistics and tactical slots.

Thanks

What is this?  Some kind of training mod?  I didn't even know they had these...sounds interesting tho...

A trainer is basically a program that runs alongside the game and you just press the corresponding buttons to activate an option i.e. unlimited logistics slots. The trainer then changes the code of the game and gives you the desired option.

Basically a cheat for games that don't include cheat codes.

www.cheathappens.com - these are the best trainer makers however you have to pay for them which I don't really want to do...

Seriously create a mod and then make the amount of logistic and tactical slots to a ridiculously high and change your income rate

Ice has the right Idea.  Increase Logistics slots(Not tactical tho, I've heard the AI goes crazy and will ultimately crash the game if you do this)  Increase income, and increase fleet supply points/capitol ship points.

Side Note:  If you're just trying to learn the game, do a small random map, turn pirates on, and make there be no AI players.  (Just turn off all the other slots, and select Keep Playing when you start the game and the victory screen appears.  Then you can familiaraize yourself with researches and find the right combos.

A hint:  Most people recomend no more than 2 civilian labs early in the game, and even then, only to get Ice and Volcanic research if there are enough of these planets to worry about.  But never a 2 civ lab opening, unless you're right in the middle of a swarm of these 2 planet types and are really quick at micro managing your empire.(If not, you're boned in this situation)  however, that rarely happens.

Doesn't the dev.exe have these features?

Basically yes.

I've already tried the mod, but

1) i keep getting minidump after minidump when trying to use it; and

2) A trainer is more flexible and more easily used

P.S. is the dev.exe you are refering to the extra exe e.g. Sins of A Solar Empire Dev.exe which is in program files? and what does it do because I've been wondering what it does ever since getting the trinity edition. I thought it just game you a windowed game so that you can more easily test it.

Just use the Dev .exe  It can do just about everything you ever want.

And if your having troubles making a mod work, its usually something simple and the crazy awesome army of modders can usually direct you to what is wrong.

thanks

Question! does the AI gain the same benifits as you? e.g if i remove build limits does the AI gain that aswell or is it just me?

Not sure as far as the dev.exe, but I do know that if you mod it then yes, not that the AI can truly do anything with it.
