Game runs choppy now after patching Entrenchment to 1.051

Immediately after installing the latest patch for Sins Entrenchment, the game now runs choppy..and will not handle large fleet sizes.

Can't uninstall the patch. Can't reverse the patch. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling...nothing works.

I don't use a physical disc in the drive. The game was downloaded from stardock via impulse. I've even defragged the pc, nothing is working.

Game works fine and smooth ----> patch installed ------> game runs choppy

Is there any possible way I can revert my Entrenchment back to it's original vanilla version?

you might have to fisickly change the computer and start from scratch im sorry to say
