Anyone else think the Modding Pins need updating?

Is it just me or are the modding Pinned threads severely out of date?

Any suggestions on what should be removed and nominations for new pins.

I nominate the [MOD] The Sins Optimization Project good building block for new mods and stand alone

Well personally, in the last year or so I rarely use the pinned posts. Mainly because I have been floating around for a bit now and I know where to find most stuff.  I certainly did find them very helpful when I first started to have a go at modding, so I don't know whether any, other than the ones that the links in them that no longer work & are basically a dead end, actually need removing.

I do however think that Improvement could be made adding some Posted topics such as your (myfist0's) tutorial to make it easier for new comers to find the info they need, like it was when all the topics pinned were valid for new comers then. I am sure more experienced people also would appreciate an easy to find link to things they feel they need to revisit and brush up on.

I personally don't have a gripe with how things are with the forum these days, in fact I think the Sins forum is a very good forum. I for 1 do appreciate the recent changes made to the forum, being able to copy and paste and do a spell check is a most welcome addition. I just think if things can be made better with out to much trouble then why not do it.

Whether it to much trouble or not to do so, I have no idea.

Kryo said somewhere that he would update the Pins if someone did some work on them someway. If you really want to update them a good PM to the dungon master might help.

remove Silent Shade's Mod Introduction and Gameplay Mod

Even when I started to learn modding I found the pins useless except the map designer and the modifier list.

im trying to learn how to mod the sins, but i cant make heads or tails of it XD, but yes, with the new 0,07 mod its a lot easyer to mod, as the entitiy, ability, and buf files are already unpacked and interlocked, so its mostly a copy-paste job to do what adjustments you want..
