Downloading the game...

HI

I've bough and played the original vanilla sins on my old, crappy comp and enjoyed it.  Now, I plan on getting a newer, better computer and play Sins Trinity on it.  I have bought Trinity from my local walmart.

Now, I would like to give trinity a spin on my current comp before I get my new comp and play it at full power, but from what I understand, there is something that will prevent me from downloading it on both comps...

Could someone please inform me on this?

I can't really think of anything that would prevent that.  Even the EULA states you can install it on 2 computers, as long as they're both yours.  Could you be more specific about what you're referring to?

Isn't there some sort of key-locking program or something, that prevents the game from being installed on more than one comp?

Nope.  ^_^

Well, is there a limited amount of times the game can be installed?  Because I heard about something like this (involving installing the game or whatever) being a problem for many users...

yep, there is a limit, but if you run into it your doing something horribley wrong.

and its on a installs/period of time basis.... so unless your reinstalling it every day, you should be fine.

There is a daily activation limit, but as Pbhead says, if you reach it, something has gone horribly wrong.  I don't remember the actual number, but I believe it's at least in the hundreds, if not the thousands.

Sure is, if your a pirate.

Impluse goes off (as far as I understand) install per period of time and also regions. For example if you were to install it whereever you at, then your key show up across the country trying to activate, then again in another country, then some place else, etc etc...withing a certain period of time..yeah your gonna get red flagged.

Ive installed Sins on my computer I think 3 times so far. Not had a problem ever.

I've installed Sins 10+ times between my two computers (reformat on both, Windows 7 Beta, 7 RC, 7 release, and also went back to XP and then again to 7 on one).  The ridiculously lenient install limits should never get in your way.

Btw, have you actually run into a problem, or are you just speculating? If you have a problem, [email protected] is almost always pretty quick to help.
