copying Sins from XP to win 7

I'm about to upgrade from XP to win 7pro.

I'm copying my files to an external HD for the move, and am wondering if I can just move Sins to my external HD and then copy and paste it into Win7 on the new HD?

Or do I have to install and update from scratch?

ps--does anyone have win7 that doesnt have any problems playing sins?

You theoretically should be able to copy it over then use the Detect Application option in Impulse to pick it up and reactivate it, but it that doesn't work out just go ahead and reinstall it fresh.

I've got Window 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and Sins runs great, no problems at all.
