Did you try to log onto ICO yesterday (Sunday)? The Vanilla/Entrenchment server was down for most of the day; I couldn't log onto it either. (The Diplomacy server was up though.)
Trinity is merely a fancy way of saying "Sins plus the two expansions". It isn't a campaign or anything special. I'm really amazed at just how much confusion the Trinity name has generated. If they had just called it, "Sins of a Solar Empire Complete" everyone would understand what it was.
