Stolen Serial Number

I recently bought a retail version of Sins, but when I tried to update it wouldn't take my serial number.

So I contacted the tech team over at Stardock and got told that someone else was using my number, so they told me to send them photographic evidence of my serial number and the purchase of the game itself. I sent all that over, but now it's been over a week and I haven't got a reply. So I'm assuming it's been forgotten about, what do I do?

What is your ticket #?  It's possible with all the images, the email may not have made it through.

You might also try contacting them on their IRC channel.

My ticket number is

I thought it may have not gone through too, which is why I sent it twice ;)

So, is this being looked at at all? Still no reply >.>

Normally I wouldn't mind, but I need the patch as I've got some game breaking bugs that I believe are fixed in patches (e.g. the late game slow-down).

I've ben dying to play a proper game of Sins for a few weeks now >.>

I think the last patch only fixed desync so it will work for Org trinity and a minor pirate thing. Everything in that mod should be compatible. What version are you at BTW?

I would try it. Mostly reduces model poly count and texture sizes.

Sooo still awaiting a reply for support, it's slowly getting to another full week with no reply.

Is this the service to expect and I should give up, or are they normally better than this?

they are normally better than this, I think the holiday weekend backlogged them a bit

Sorry about the delay, we have been sorting through what came in while we were on vacation.  It actually looks like the images did make it through, they just didn't update the ticket so it didn't get put back in the queue.  It happens sometimes with large attachments.  Check your email, you should have some good news.

Aha all better, thankyou very much!

And sorry for any harsh words, down in Australia I forget there's weird holidays going on elsewhere ;)

No worries, we've gotten much worse before. ^_^ Just glad you're up and running.
