The Portal 2 trailer is awesome.
@ the Steam haters: Don't even start. I'll buy this even if I have to run Outlook, BitTorrent and Notepad all at once in the background while simultaneously being logged into facebook and hulu to play it.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

nice trailer
Yay! More Glados quotes!!!!
I despise Steam even more for this. I hate Steam, but love Portal, and really really want Portal 2. Damn them for making awesome games!
Gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!
Yeah, this is looking pretty awesome. Definite buy.
(Another forum I frequent has an official "I hate the CRTC thread" sticiked, where all the hate posts go. I wonder if we need an "I hate Steam" thread here. :P)
Hey, don't dis notepad, notepad is awesome and extremely useful! But I think we can put our differences behind us, for science, you monster.
Couldn't resist. ![]()
I've been resisting tying any more games to Steam for a while now, but this one might have to be an exception.
Well, as VALVe is the sole company working on it, I don't see any problem with them making it a steam exclusive, just as I don't have a problem with Stardock making their products Impulse exclusive. It's only when they start locking their community features pack and games other than theirs that use it to steam that I have issues with them.
The original Portal was the same way, adapted from from an indy game, if I recall correctly.
Valve hired those guys, and they helped make 'Portal', didn't they? As far as I am aware, and I could be quite wrong here, Valve have not hired the people responsible for the creation of that game. I'm not saying they've stolen it out-right, however the concepts are quire similiar. I can't quite recall what it was called... it was available at the same time as 'Dyson' was and featured entirely cell-shaded levels, played from the first person.
They hired them. Simple Google search of "valve portal 2 paint" came up with this link.
Ah, and you're quite right, too, that's exactly the game I was rambling about. Nice to see. Strange that I missed that piece of news, I must be going blind in my old age ![]()
