yet another LAN problem

hooked up with a cable and all firewalls off?

I'm trying to play Sins-Trinity between a Vista Desktop and a Windows 7 Laptop

If i set it up the old school way with a cable and take off firwalls, we can both see aechothers games and attempt to join.
