bonus question: Which is the lates version of patches and since bailknights mod doesnt work are there any other mods that make graphics look realy good? ( i got SOASE trinity)

It really is not a big deal to patch when one is released. You just start up impulse, hit the patch install button (once it checks to see if there are any patches available) and that's it. No hassle.
