I'd like to run Sins on my netbook, which is Windows Xp on a 1.3GHz hyperthreaded processor (2 virtual processors) with 1Gb memory. It installs but doesn't start up and the problem seems to be that the screen size isn't being detected properly (it's 1024x600). Is there a way to get it running?
it probably won't be reasonably playable imo
Actually, I should have read the FAQ before posting - 1024x768 is the min supported screen size. Also my CPU may not be up to it (min recommended is 1.8GHz single CPU - I doubt a 1.3 hyperthreaded will cut it). Darn.
i think theres a mod that lets you run it on a netbook resolution but yeah the processor probably wont work, i have a 2ghz one and it still gets to lag quite a bit
aaa11 is correct, ther IS a netbook screen res mod, but the biggest issue is the amount of ram, 1gb is the minimum 2+gb is prefered along with as high a clockspeed as available on a single core.

i run sins on my notebook it gets a bit laggy in larger games but if ya set the priority to high it runs okay considering its bellow minimum spec.
and i didnt need anymods or anything to do it either
