Some time ago I bought both sins and sins:entrenchment via digital download from impulse/stardock. They both worked fine and when diplomacy/trinity came out I bought the diplomacy expac. Things were still working at this point.

At this point however I decided to purchase sins:trinity for a friend of mine. So I payed the money, it sent the key to his email address, he installs impulse and sins:trinity is there ready to be downloaded.

This is where it gets tricky, since my friends internet connection isn't exactly what you'd call good I got his details and logged in under his name, planning to download the files for sins trinity.

This is where the problem starts. From the exact moment that I installed sins:trinity under his account I keep getting an error that says "Could not run SDActivate.exe. Try running as Admin".

I went into the stardock games/sins file and found the SDActivate.exe file but when I tryed running it in administrator mode it did nothing.

Next I attempted to run the sins.exe file in administrator mode only to be presented with a box asking for my email address and product key.

When I entered my info(yes its correct) and clicked activate I get an error telling me I have an invalid product.

So here I am with 2 complete and legitimate copies of sins and I cannot play either of them.
