I dont think there is a vanilla list anywhere. Lots of mod list but you are write where this can be confusing on version and expansion. I dont even play Entrenchment anymore let alone vanilla.

There is a mod updater included in harpos mod utilities package but I think its limited in only the same game expansion so you could only update mods from older versions for vanilla and not an old entrenchment mod to new vanilla.

Once you get into playing Sins, if you like it I recommend the expansion, they are worth it. For the 2nd expansion Diplomacy you will need Entrenchment 1st, as Diplomacy builds on vanilla and Entrenchment.

Entrenchment allowed for some much more in the way of mod capabilities that sadly Vanilla got left in the dust, Diplomacy didn't add much for modders so that's why you still see a fair amount for Entrenchment sitting. I do know that Distant Stars may soon update our Vanilla mod but am not sure as to when that will occur.
