can anyone tell me if there are files I can change in the game that can give me unlimited health or make me godlike? i have done this in galactic civ 1 and 2.

What would that accomplish, though? It's not like it's an FPS or RPG adventure where going into God mod would let you see stuff you might not otherwise easily see. It seems like the same effect could be accomplished by just setting the AI to easy.
well he can build a special race that is all his own and give himself capital ships that are Uberpowerful and pwn the AI because it makes him feel better
Or you could just make one capital ship and put that on "God Mode" just for the lulz of watching a single Capital Ship eat it's way thru thousands of enemy ships.

How about a construction ship that speeds towards a cap ship and cuts it in half. The TEC constructor is already giving the finger.
Get as umpteen as you can. Angels are similar agents or operatives -- they can do things for you when you aren't there. You can't be twofold places at erst (God force that allow), so angels soul to shill for you.
