Hello,

           I seem to be having a rather strange problem. I have spent that last few hours searching for a solution but have not found one. I have also tried different drivers and even two different sound cards...

Basically the problem is - I'm in a middle of a fairly small battle, my frame rate is nice and smooth but whenever I turn the camera to face any angle other than a particular one, the game starts to micro stutter every half a second. I went through all the different options (gfx, interface etc) and found turning off 'Sound Effects' is the only one that makes any difference. In-fact it completely solves the problem. But it's not very fun playing with no sound.

I thought it could be my drivers (I use a creative sound blaster audigy 4) so I tried different driver versions but still no change. So I pulled out my sound card and tried my on-board audio, installed the latest drivers but it does exactly the same thing.

I am completely at a loss and wonder if anyone has encountered this problem before? I have already tried to change a couple of settings in the user settings file - such as turning sound hardware acceleration off/on but still no change.....Any suggestions would be appreciated!

EDIT: I don't want to bump this thread so I've just made an edit. Just wanted to say thanks to Darvin. It isn't due to either of those reasons you mentioned but thanks all the same! I think it's one of those mystery problems. Maybe I will get to play sins and some point in the future.
