Using [Opera 10.62]

from Elemental Forums

I'm using IE as a workaround to post replies, but would be wonderful if someone knows, what problem may I have and how to fix it...

My OS is  windows 7 / 32 bits. I prefer Opera to firefox, anticipating the probable answer, that I should be using it no matter what ;)

Opera is not a supported browser.  I would suggest for now to use IE, FF, or Chrome.

I only use opera and have just posted this using it. Have never had a problem whether it's supported or not. In fact they just had an upgrade a couple days ago and it's faster than ever. So even though it's not supported by Stardock and would look on your system for another problem. If opera didn't work for me I would just use ff. Maybe un-install you opera and install the latest version and see what happens.

Same here.

Try disabling opera turbo, if you have it turned on though.

edit: also try deleting the cache and cookies.

Ok thanks for the answer guess I'll have to look into it a bit ;)

Hmm it seems the combination of opera+privoxy was keeping the text editor from working properly. Funny it did work perfectly in IE..

Hmm now it magically works without disabling it, problem solved. Maybe it was blocking something that needed to get information in order to work and not the text editor itself...

 

Anyways if someone happens to have same problem, just disable privoxy ;)
