I am having issues with continuing saved games. Every time I try to load a saved game, it says "Invalid Save File."

I am aware that updating the game can cause this to happen; however, I receive this message EVERY TIME I SAVE EVEN BEFORE I UPDATED!

I have lost many games this way, and I can't seem to finish a single one. I've tried many different scenarios and every one results in a corrupt save file. I tried reinstalling the game, cleaning my computer, running antivirus, you name it. This game is pretty fun to play, but it is useless if I can't finish a single game. If anyone knows a solution, please throw it my way. There's no reason to play this game if I know I can't finish a single game.
