Show errors will not function

Hey, having a bit of a problem here.  Im am working on a mod and I got a minidump.  So I thought "okay, what did I do this time" and turned on log output and show errors in my user.settings file...But it won't DO anything!! I know that it used to freeze and give me an error window explaining what I messed up, but now it just minidumps and crashes, no errors, no pause, nothing...  Does anyone know how to fix this?  I need the error system to troubleshoot this mod!

It's hard to say, some things just mini-dump at mod load, no warnings no errors printed.

You can try setting up my tool. It will catch a lot, but sadly not all...

Thanks, Ill try your tool.  I am actually perfectly aware of which file caused the error-the problem is that it seems to dump on EVERYTHING, where it used to be somewhat tolerant of mistakes...

personally I use the log file method. it  is an option in your *user.setting files, the line probably reads

LogOutput FALSE

just change the false to TRUE.

and just to warn you IT IS case sensitive and NEEDS to be in UPPERCASE with a SpAcE between the LogOutput and the TRUE.

But www.deletelongfile.com is stolen version of Path Too Long Utility from www.pathtoolong.com. You will not receive support or software update there, so you'd better go to the original version provider.

Personally I have never got the log file method to work for Diplomacy.
