Anyone want to partner up on a new Sins mod?

I can do models and some light programming. What I can't do is create races and the heavy programming stuff. I have a lot of ideas though. I am interested in creating completely origional content from races all the way down to abilities and buffs. 

 

Here's some ideas:

 

1. A Dreadnought type ship for the 'homebody' type race that is incapable of hyper space flight but that is extremely powerful (average laser damage 1400), incredibly durable and incredibly expensive (20,000). The ship would be fast and small and capable of destroying entire invading fleets on it's own. It would all but guarantee that a hostile force could not take a given planet. It's cost in terms of man power would be such that only 2 could be ever be built per game .

 

I created such a ship using Dolynick's Star Gate Races mod as a basis. I did it with the Ori anti-fighter ship and it's really, really fun to watch it destroy a capital ship in 10 volleys. 

 

2. Give Dolynick's (assuming you don't have an objection) stargate buffs to the 'economic' race's trade ports. This makes trade ports double as stargate (we would call it something else I guess) deployment stations. This would help balance the economic race against the more aggressive races since they would ultimate mobility. Phase lanes would be meaningless to this race within their own empire. 

I have also done this in the Stargate Races  mod and it's pretty cool. 

 

3. Give scout ships of a given race  the ability to deploy mines and give them enough anti matter and the right programming so that they can and will do so in every gravity well they encounter. I've tried to make this work but so far have had no luck.

 

4. Turn the 'Aggressive'  race's light utility frigates into all purpose war ships. Their light frigate would have 2000 hull and 2000 shields, cost 1000c 100m and 200c, would have average laser damage of 500, and the ability to deploy mines and beam torrents into any gravity well. This race would also have inexpensive, but not very powerful, capital ships.

 

I've also done this in the Stargate Races mod.

I could use a modeler for my new race mod.  I've already coded most of the files (~500 total, not including the content from my Tangential Assimilation mod, which more than doubles the count) but have yet to get the Aeronian race fully functioning...
