Unable to play or update SoaSE:Trinity

I bought Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity today. Absolutely love it. I can't play online though, as I haven't got the latest version of it. The game prompts me to make an account to play online first, which I fill out, including the serial key. But it won't work. So I quit the game, start up Impulse, and proceed to make an account there, again with the same serial key. It makes the account, and prompts me to yet again enter the same serial key in order to update the game.

Now the trouble arises. It detects SoaSE:T not as one game, but three, and not one of those three work with my serial key because my serial key isn't for the default game, Diplomacy, or Entrenchment separately, but Trinity (Which is all three in one). So, I cannot get updates whatsoever. It detects the game as three separate games of which I have no serial key.

Stuff you, Stardock. Why does it need to be so ridiculously complicated to get an update for your game?!

On the bottom right corner of the game screen it should say what version you have (for all three variants of the game).  What versions does it say you have?

Once you are able to get online you might find that you can't join other people's games and they can't join yours with you receiving a message about a "mesh error".  If this happens, read this thread to fix it:  http://tinyurl.com/sins10

If you're having trouble registering the game, please contact [email protected] and they should be able to get you sorted.
