Turn off auto pin, Fleet tree takes a lot of resources, only show what you need

Turn off cargo trade ship icons and reduce exhaust trail

get more ram, Sins can use 2 gigs alone

I downloaded the Trinity TSOP. After I'll have dezipped it, i'll give it a try.

I guess I have to overwrite every file provided by TSOP.

Well, i have myself try the TSOP for entrenchment... graphic setting on high, 10 player + pirate and huge random multistar map have lead to a memory use between 500 ( early game ) to 700 mb ram ( late game )...

So, if you have these amount of memory free before launching the game, the TSOP can be your solution... but adding 2 gb ram is really the best option... your mini-dump are certainly due to memory shortage...

Like myfist0 wrote, TSOP is a mod... a few other mod have already include the work done by the TSOP team in their own mod... these mod will maybe run on your system...

One of the last processor with socket 939... cheap upgrade don't exist in these case since the motherboard will need to be changed too... single core at 2.4 ghz... this will not lead to crash but to possible slideshow visual in late game ( or earlier with more player and bigger map )...

Windows 7 is a good OS but more heavy that previous version... a XP pro x64 OS will use fewer memory and resource... and these spared memory/resource can be used for the game itself...

Few games can be compare to sins... in sins, everything is loaded at the start... in a lot of game, a section of the map ( level ) is loaded... when section is done, it is unload and next section is loaded... little map with only 2-4 player will not be a problem with your system ( unless Windows 7 eat to much resource )
