No Fog of War??

See all Planets

Hi,

I played the map "Grindstone" so far. Now I'm looking for another map. There's plenty of them and for my search for a map I like I need a Cheat code/Trainer to see the whole map (without sending scouts everywhere)!!

Plz help asap! Thanks in advance.

As soon as you load the map go to Menu --> Quit --> Surrender --> Keep Playing. You can view everything then.

Most of the fun for me is exploring. I always play random generated.

That's funny, I like a map in a "symetric"-style (best example the map "Grindstone")

OK so after surrending a lot of times I will decide later between Large Map "Implosion" or "Random-Huge (single)".

I Think I will start this time with the generated map. I like a map with artifacts, that's always a great target for fight for.

edit: I decided to play medium "Cenvergence": The allocation of the ressources seems fair - not like the "random huge" I tried before. edit2: Nope, I like to play "Implosion" - period...

Sins actually plays well in both varieties.  Most multiplayer matches are held on random maps, and we just live with the occasional odd creation.  Surprisingly, the biggest crap shoot is actually asteroids.  Having lots of roids in the early-game allows you to get an expansive economy operational at a low cost, which can fuel rapid development or a massive fleet to crush your nearest opponent.  Likewise, starting without an asteroid can be a massive liability since it leaves you without easy expansion options early-on.

If you like symmetric maps a lot, though, you might try this map pack:

Lots of great options there for the symmetry-lover.
