Unable to register my copy of Sins

Heya guys.

I thought I'd try this approach as I've already tried e-mailing Stardock Support and unfortunately haven't had anything back.

I bought Sins through Play about two weeks ago and I'm finding that I can't register it, saying that the serial number doesn't belong to this e-mail address. Only problem is I've not committed any of my e-mail addresses to it so it's not a case of me remembering which one I've registered it to. I had also come across a number of people with the same issue and it was suggested that they contact support for them to sort it out, which I have done.

It's been about 8 working days since I contacted them ([email protected]) and I've still had nothing back from them. It'd be great if someone, preferably a rep, could sort this out for me so I can at least update and play online with friends.

Attempt a second time. Often this will speed things along.

Im experiancing the same problem. I can play the game but I bought Entrenchment today and without being able to register my copy I can't download it from Impulse.

Support is still running a bit behind from the holidays but they definitely should have reached your ticket by now. If you can log on Impulse Chat or irc.stardock.com during business hours, you should be able to have someone pull the ticket up directly and see what's up.

Timothy, please contact support as well, they can sort any registration issues.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

A while after my above post, I actually got a reply from a Stardock advisor, I've explained the situation to him in a little more detail and brought him up to speed. Just awaiting a reply from that. Knowing that SD are dealing with the holiday backlog, I'll give it until end of next week then give the Impulse chat / IRC a go if i've heard nothing else.

Make sure you use zeros instead of o's. and include the dashes when you type it in.

Hi I'm also getting this issue "Error: The serial number you have entered is not recognized by Impulse.  Only serial numbers provided by Stardock will be accepted."  I raised a ticket about this last week and still heard nothing, this is very frustrating as I've wasted money on buying the two expansion pack games for it.

Strange thing is, Diplomacy & Entrenchment have updated to their recommend patch but can't get the main game to update and since the main game won't update, I can't play either of the 2 expansion packs! :(
