Updating a mod

Okay, so I have a mod, conversion really, that does not work with an updated game of Sins - Diplomacy. Is there anyway to update the mod so that it works?

actually, I need to make the mod work with Diplomacy. It works fine with Entrenchment. I'm unknowledgeable when it comes to modding so...

sorry ryat, but my mod updater DOES NOT convert between expansions, BUT if the mod does NOT have playerRACE.entity's then copy the mod into the mods-diplomacy v1.011, the use the manifest maker to make a diplomacy manifest for the mod, and add ONE line into EACH of the ship(capital & frigate) at the end containing

'allegianceDecreasePerRoundtrip 0.000000'.

the mod should then work, but would actually have to test in the dev.exe to make sure

ryat, the reason I did not is the huge number of changes in the playerRACE.entity files for the extra research, and while I have moved a couple of simple mods( ie no playerRACE.entity files from sins to entrenchment then on to diplomacy, there was no way I could automate the task enough to be reliable.
