well this is my first time posting here so bear with me. im running windows xp sp3 as far as i can tell and my specs fall well within the playing limits however i have recently come across a problem. having not played sinisn since my last soge lan party about 2 months ago with exam time over an another one looming i thought id get some practise in. to my horror an anoyance sins just wont load. the tinity launcher comes up i pick my version the program launches and when nothing no black screen no error nothing except a colum in task manager with the mem its using and the percentage of the cpu its it isnt taking up as it remain at zero. so far ive left it be for an hour, nothing changes re installed nothing changed. havnt tried patching as updating beyon a certain point causes soge to stop working defeating the point of me running the game though i have this sneaking suspsicion it wont make a difference as i didnt 2 months ago. the only thing thats changed in the past months is i had to update me omega drivers nothing else. any sugestions becasue short of finding another graphics driver (which may be the problem) im not sure.
