Why does my game hang?

Hola.

Recently reinstalled Sins and went to get some of the mods I used to use back. However, whenever I go to apply the mods, the game screen is still, goes dimmer and just waits. Mouse moves, can still Ctrl-Alt-Del and when I do Sins is "Not Responding".

Am I just not being patient enough? Are the mods not up to date with the latest Diplomacy patch? Help!

V 1.2 was released yesterday so you need to wait for them to be updated to latest version

That is why I haven't updated quite yet, not that I play Diplomacy much any way, I just hope they back port all of the relevant changes from Diplomacy/Trinity 1.2 to Entrenchment and Vanilla at some point.

If IC wont do it TSOP will. At least as far as data fix's. The pipeline effects, and exe changes are beyond my capability.

Distant Stars is up to date. We caught the main change in beta 4 that would cause issues. The Player Entity files had a slight one line change.

I think it was a reference to a sound that plays in-game when a quest ends.

Yes it is. Also some minor changes to the pirates. Mostly need to remove their abilities if you modified them except for the abilities.
