Trinity Price

Over three years after initial release, over a year since last micro-expansion, over a month after new expansion announcement

Why is the price still $40? I know Stardock and Ironclad are not large companies, and I am sure the Elemental disaster did not help, but when considering both the facts I already mentioned and how a certain Impulse competitor routinely has insane sales/discounts for just about every game except Call of Duty (which is about $60 overpriced), it seems that $40 is asking a bit much for Trinity. Maybe I am wrong, but it would seem to me that a price decrease and/or sale would overall net more revenue than current sales at $40. This is of course coming from someone who does not yet own Trinity.

Yeah that will probably be changing. Honestly you should probably just wait for Rebellion to be released to get the best deal for your money.

I think the price is reasonable. You could only expect a decrease of say 20% max anyway, as it includes a fair amount of content.

End of Bluecewe's quote

I think it's a little stiff for people who already own Diplomacy.  You're paying 75% of the full price when you probably already own 75% of the content of Rebellion.  I think a price of $20 or $25 would be more reasonable.

I'd pay $50 if I could get a guarantee that it meant more content will be released in the future.
