Can't patch to 1.05...

I have trinity (at 1.00) and am trying to get to 1.05 (for 7 deadly sins). I download the official patch and try to get the patch going but i get this:


The path registry value at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\D…

appears to be blank.

Please make sure you have the game installed.

This update installation will now exit.




Whats up with that?

7DS means the version of the original Sins, not trinity (AKA Diplomacy). While you are able to play the original, trinity comes with version 1.181 I believe. 1.05 is several years old, and I do not think its possible to downgrade.

If you update your game to Trinity 1.2 however (the latest), there are several other very good mods you will be able to play(check this thread for recommendations, even though it was for the last patch I think they are all updated now). 7DS may also be updated for it eventually.

You update the game through Impulse.

No way to downgrade unless you can find someone that has an original base game.

There is 7DS 2.5 in alpha stage available for public.

It is for Entrenchment 1.51 (latest). Go check 7DS thread.
